Reproduction patinated by hand. Mold made from an imprint of the original work exhibited at the Louvre.
Identified as Nefertiti or a princess, this torso has an exaggerated swelling of the pelvis and thighs, characteristic of Amarnian iconography.
Despite the shortcomings, it seems that the female character is in the position of walking, with the right arm raised in a sign of respect; attitude found in others sculptures of Nefertiti in particular.
Black marble base.
History: The New Kingdom (circa 1550 to circa 1069 BC)
Original Material: quartzite
Size: H. : 29 cm.
